The Ministry of Health announced the death of a 70-year-old male Bahraini national, a registered active case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) who was suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.

Bahrainis voiced an urgent appeal via Twitter demanding the authorities in Manama to release political prisoners to save them from the risk of contracting the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
