The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Islamic Action Society, Al-Wafa'a Islamic Party, February 14 Coalition, Bahrain Freedom Movement and Haq Movement for Liberty and Democracy announced boycotting the parliamentary and municipal elections to be held on November 12.

The Fourth High Criminal Court sentenced 9 defendants to prison terms ranging between 3 months and 6 years in a case known as "Ahrar Damistan".

Al-Wafa'a Islamic Party said that publishing photos of women by the Ministry of Interior is a “moral degradation” and reflects the mischievousness of regime and lack of the least humanitarian and justice principles.
