Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Tom Malinowski, criticized the charges brought by the Public Prosecution against the lawyer and human rights defender Mohamed Al-Tajer.

Activists on social media said that the Bahraini authorities prevented 3 human rights defenders from leaving Bahrain.
