Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's first high criminal court adjourned the case of a Pakistani national who robbed an exchange company using a plastic pistol and wearing a stolen soldier suit until October 26, with his continued detention.
An Exchange Company in the East Riffa was robbed by a person wearing a soldier suit, covering his face and threatening employees with a pistol. The man could steal 2700 BD. The suspect was arrested after investigations with only 500 BD left in his possession.
When arrested, the accused, a 28-year-old, said that he was going through a financial crisis and decided to rob the exchange house through which he used to send money to his family. He told the investigators that he stole a uniform that was hung outside a house to disguise himself as a soldier. He also told the investigators that he painted the plastic gun to give it a more realistic look to intimidate the employees at the exchange house.
