Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Court presided over by judge Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as secretariat upheld a verdict issued by the first-instance court sentencing appellants to 5 years in prison over blasting gas cylinder in Saar and causing damages to nearby shops.
The first-instance court had convicted 11 suspects in the case of blasting a gas cylinder in Saar and causing damages to nearby shops.
The Public Prosecution accused the suspects that on April 23, 2015, they, along with other unknowns deliberately set fire to a money exchange shop in Saar, endangering people's lives, causing a blast, along with other unknowns, for a terrorist aim, taking part in an assembly of more than 5 persons aiming at disrupting public peace as well as acquiring Molotov.
