It was not surprising what the new Bahraini Minister of Education, Muhammad Mubarak Jumaa, did. Over the past 10 years, he has expressed his extremist views and abhorrent sectarianism, through his weekly articles in Akhbar Al Khaleej newspaper, and his television call-ins on Arabic-speaking satellite channels to comment on the matters of public affairs.

A source in the Ministry of Finance confirmed to Bahrain Mirror that Saudi Arabia has actually stopped pumping cash into Bahrain since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

It is indeed paradoxical that expatriates in Bahrain celebrate its National Day that marks the king's accession to power, while most citizens celebrate Martyrs' Day.

It appears that some party is attempting to punish government opponents by robbing them of their remaining rights in this country, and this time it seems that someone seriously decided to deny pro-opposition citizens housing services.

Isn't it time for the ruling family to give up some of its privileges? Why does the Al Khalifa family live a similar luxurious life to those of the ruling families in the Gulf when the country's wealth and resources do not allow Bahraini citizens to live like the rich people in the Gulf?

What is the ruling family doing in Bahrain? It acts as if it is a holding company, but essentially without capital. It accomplishes this by squatting, i.e. by bullying. The ruling family has the upper hand in all spaces.

Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received on Sunday the President of the Israeli entity, Isaac Herzog, at Al-Qudaibiya Palace, according to an official statement issued by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
