The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society condemned the terrorist act that took place in Ahvaz province in the Islamic Republic of Iran and led to the death of dozens of innocent Iranian people.

The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) said that the security authorities in Bahrain target freedom of religion and belief through imposing restrictions on the commemoration of religious rituals and Ashura rituals in Bahraini villages and cities.

The public Prosecution has recalled that its duty does not involve revealing the truth when it comes to governmental bodies, so it was quick to release a statement attempting to convince the public that the Ministry of Education is doing its job.

The Bahraini authorities arrested on Sunday (September 16, 2018) two preachers over taking part in commemorating Ashura occasion. Meanwhile, the authorities didn’t present any explanation about their arrest.

The Bahraini authorities summoned on Monday (September 17, 2018) Sayed Sadiq Al-Ghuraifi and Sheikh Mahdi Al-Karzakani over taking part in commemorating Ashura occasion.
