Protestors burnt the Israeli flag and photo of the Head of Bahrain's Diplomatic Mission to the State of Israel, Ambassador Khalid Yusuf Al-Jalahma, expressing popular anger over the development of relations and normalization with the Israeli entity.

Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim called for the release of prisoners and addressed the government of Bahrain saying "Choose between releasing prisoners and keeping them to die in prisons."

Hundreds of citizens took to the streets in different areas across Bahrain for the second day in a row (Tuesday, March 30, 2021) demanding the authorities to release prisoners after Coronavirus outbreak in prison.

Raising Bahrain's public debt ceiling to 15 billion dinars ($39.682 billion) puts further pressure on the country's public budget, while plans to pay off accumulated debts since Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa took office in 1999 are absent.
