In a post on his "Twitter" account, Aldosary said, "My employment relationship ended, but by relationship as a reader of this beautiful green piece (Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper) never ends".

انتهت علاقتي الوظيفية… لكن علاقتي كقارئ مع الخضراء الجميلة لا تنتهي أبداً🇸🇦
Aldosary also noted in his tweet, that his successor as the newspaper's editor in chief is Lebanese journalist, Ghassan Charbel.
Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper had published a fabricated report last Sunday, claiming that the WHO had warned of illegitimate pregnancy risks in the city in Karbala, coinciding the commemoration of Arbaeen Imam Hussein; a claim rebuffed altogether by the WHO.
WHO spokesperson, Rana Sidani, confirmed that the newspaper republished the fabricated report, although her organization had rejected the claims before its publication.
