Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Interior stated on its official Twitter account on Monday (March, 14, 2016) that it deported "a number of Lebanese residents after it was proved that they are either affiliated to or support Hezbollah."
This is considered to be the first official statement on the information that emerged regarding the deportation of Lebanese families residing in Bahrain.
Bahrain Mirror has previously revealed that the expelled Lebanese families weren't only followers of the Shiite sect, as some were "Sunni and Christian" families.
The Gulf States have recently added Hezbollah to their terrorist blacklist, a move that led the Arab League to follow suit.
